Recently, the Ministry of Finance, in conjunction with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, allocated 197 million yuan of central government funds for agricultural production disaster prevention and relief. This funding will support seven provinces including Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Chongqing, Guizhou, and Yunnan in actively responding to the impact of disasters such as floods, typhoons, and others, and carrying out relevant work for agricultural production disaster relief. The focus will be on providing appropriate subsidies for measures such as changing and replanting crops, repairing damaged agricultural facilities, and draining farmland ditches, in order to reduce agricultural production losses and help strengthen the foundation for a bountiful autumn harvest.
