According to Xinhua News Agency, Premier of the State Council Li Keqiang recently signed a State Council order to promulgate the "Regulations on the Management of Chinese Employees of Foreign Diplomatic and Consular Missions in China", which will come into effect on January 1, 2026. The regulations aim to facilitate foreign diplomatic and consular missions in China in carrying out their duties and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese employees.
