On the evening of September 15th, EHang Intelligent announced that it has signed a letter of intent for cooperation with the large commercial and industrial enterprise Allur Group from Kazakhstan to explore the emerging markets in Central Asia. According to the letter of intent, both parties will promote the procurement of EH216 series products and complete the airworthiness certification and commercial deployment of EH216-S in Kazakhstan. Allure Group plans to purchase 50 EHang EH216 series eVTOL products in phases, with the first order including 10 EH216-S manned aircraft and 10 EH216-L logistics aircraft. In addition, both parties will explore the construction of a local assembly base for eVTOL with an annual production capacity of 200 aircraft. Once completed, this base will be the first eVTOL production base in Central Asia, providing services to Kazakhstan and other countries in the region. (Jiemian News)
