US Commerce Secretary Says Trump Administration May Consider Investing in Defense Contractors, Lockheed Martin (LMT.US) Stock Price Rises in Response

According to the WiseFinance app, US Commerce Secretary Ross said earlier on Tuesday that the Trump administration is "considering" whether to acquire equity in major defense contractors and other industries. It is reported that when asked if the Trump administration would arrange similar deals as their recent acquisition of a 10% stake in Intel (INTC.US) with other companies that do business with the government (including defense contractors), Ross said, "Discussions on defense are very intense."
