Ministry of Commerce: Promote and Regulate Cross-Border Data Flow, Accelerate the Development of International Data Service Business.
On August 27, Kong Dejun, Director of the Department of Trade in Services of the Ministry of Commerce, pointed out at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that the Ministry of Commerce, together with relevant departments, has jointly formulated a number of policy measures to promote service exports, and the relevant documents will be published and issued soon. Among them, in terms of financial policies, efforts will be made to increase support for export credit insurance, improve the accuracy of export credit insurance policies, increase financial services for small and medium-sized enterprises, and enhance the level of insurance service convenience; in terms of regulatory facilitation, efforts will be made to further improve relevant customs supervision systems, facilitate personnel exchanges and promote inbound consumption, enhance the convenience of service trade fund settlement, encourage intellectual property transactions, promote and regulate cross-border data flow, and accelerate the development of international data service business; in terms of international market development, efforts will be made to further leverage the role of service trade intermediary organizations and provide more assistance for enterprises to develop international markets, support enterprises in participating in exhibitions and exhibitions abroad.
