Meituan's "Raccoon Cafeteria" is open for franchising, with a single store investment threshold of about 1.5 million yuan.
Recently, Meituan's "Raccoon Cafeteria" has started recruiting partners. A source stated that the first batch of cities open for franchise are limited to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou, with a focus on single-store partnerships and not yet open for regional agencies. After more than half a year of trial operation, in early July of this year, Meituan officially launched the centralized takeaway kitchen brand "Raccoon Cafeteria." Official data shows that as of early July, "Raccoon Cafeteria" has operated 10 stores in Beijing, Hangzhou, and other places, with over 100 catering businesses joining. In the next 3 years, Meituan plans to invest in and build 1200 "Raccoon Cafeterias" nationwide. It is understood that Meituan has two main strict requirements for partners: one is the financial requirement, with an initial investment of about 1.5 million per store, partners need to provide proof of cash or assets of over 1 million; the second is the location requirement, partners need to have property located in popular takeaway districts, with a building area of 500-1000 square meters and a remaining lease term of no less than 8 years.
