According to the Intelligent Financial News APP, on August 13, the State Administration for Market Regulation, together with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, drafted the "Notice on Strengthening the Recall of Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicles, Production Consistency Supervision and Standardized Promotion". It mentioned that companies should not imply to consumers in the naming and marketing of their combination driving assistance systems or functionalities that they can be considered as automatic driving systems with functions that they do not actually possess, in order to prevent drivers from abusing them. Companies should avoid exaggerating the driving performance of vehicles in their advertising and misleading consumers into driving vehicles at unreasonable high speeds. The State Administration for Market Regulation will increase supervision and inspection of companies' advertising activities and commercial promotion activities exaggerating the functions of combination driving assistance, deceiving or misleading consumers, etc., organize recall technical institutions to carry out technical identification work on issues such as excessive advertising, and jointly conduct special investigations with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to regulate the work in accordance with the law.
