Today, it was learned from the Supreme People's Court that the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Water Resources, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the State Forestry and Grassland Administration, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, and other 12 central and state agencies jointly issued the "Opinions on Strengthening Coordination of Law Enforcement and Judicial Work to Serve and Guarantee the Ecological Environment Protection and High-Quality Development of the Yangtze River Basin", and released 4 typical cases of coordination of law enforcement and judicial work in the Yangtze River Basin. It is understood that in the four years since the implementation of the Yangtze River Protection Law, courts at all levels in the Yangtze River Basin have legally concluded over 400,000 first-instance criminal, civil, administrative and other cases related to ecological environment resources. In recent years, various levels of courts and law enforcement agencies in the Yangtze River Basin have established various forms of collaborative mechanisms, and it is necessary to further refine relevant rules and strengthen regional systematic governance. The "Opinions" combine goal orientation and problem orientation, absorb beneficial experiences from local practices, focus on solving and standardizing prominent difficulties and problems in coordination of law enforcement and judicial work, and enhance the systemic protection effectiveness of the Yangtze River. The "Opinions" consist of 18 articles, divided into overall requirements and strengthening linkage, optimizing connection, and deepening cooperation.
