The most advanced water treatment plant in South Africa holds a ceremony for the inauguration of new facilities.

On August 8th, the "Zuikerbosch Water Treatment Plant" in Vereeniging, Gauteng Province, South Africa held a ceremony for the commissioning of the 5A station. South African President Ramaphosa and other guests attended the ceremony. The Zuikerbosch Water Treatment Plant is currently one of the largest and most advanced water treatment plants in Africa. The newly built 5A station, along with the soon to be completed 5B station, is an important part of the expansion of the plant, with a total investment of up to 3.9 billion rand. Once completed, the project is expected to increase the daily production capacity of drinking water by 1.2 billion litres, meeting the water needs of 2.4 million people.
