2025 International Basic Science Conference opens in Beijing, focusing on AI and the future of humanity.

The 2025 International Conference on Basic Science opened today in Beijing with the theme "Focus on Basic Science, Leading the Future of Humanity." More than 80 Chinese and foreign academicians, as well as nearly a thousand domestic and foreign experts and scholars, are attending the conference, which will last until the 25th. The conference will include over 500 academic presentations and satellite meetings, where experts and scholars from both China and abroad will focus on mathematics, physics, information science, and engineering to share cutting-edge achievements and discuss future development directions.
