The UK implements a plan in an attempt to revive onshore wind power which was stifled by the Conservative Party.

After lifting the ban on new onshore wind farms in England nearly a year ago, the British government has announced a plan to revive investment in the struggling wind power industry. Energy Minister Ed Miliband said in a report released by a working group on Friday, "As one of the cheapest and fastest sources of electricity we have, onshore wind will play a key role in boosting our energy independence."
