According to the State Administration for Market Regulation, the series of national standards such as "Technical Requirements and Test Methods for User Terminals of BeiDou-3 Regional Short Message Communication", "User Management Module Interface for User Terminals of BeiDou-3 Regional Short Message Communication", and "General Data Interface for User Terminals of BeiDou-3 Regional Short Message Communication" are the first batch of national standards formulated and released in the field of "short message" of BeiDou-3. Since the implementation of the standards one year ago, they have played an important role in promoting the development of China's BeiDou "short message" communication industry. BeiDou "short message" is a unique bi-directional communication technology of China's BeiDou satellite navigation system, which allows users to send and receive short messages via satellite in areas without ground network coverage. This technology integrates positioning and communication capabilities, and can transmit up to 1000 Chinese characters in a single message, widely used in emergency rescue, ocean fishing, and other fields. The State Administration for Market Regulation will work together with relevant departments to increase the implementation of the series of national standards for BeiDou "short message", and promote the high-quality development of the BeiDou industry.
