Violations of eating and drinking refer to: violating regulations by accepting or providing banquets, including providing or accepting banquets that may affect the fair execution of official duties, accepting banquets paid for with public funds, banquets for management and service objects, and organizing or participating in banquets paid for with public funds in violation of regulations, which are typical violations of the spirit of the Eight-point Central Regulations. According to the "Disciplinary Regulations of the Communist Party of China", violations of eating and drinking mainly fall into four categories: firstly, accepting or providing banquets that may affect the fair execution of official duties; secondly, violating regulations by entering private clubs for eating and drinking; thirdly, organizing or participating in banquets paid for with public funds in violation of regulations; fourthly, excessive and extravagant receptions or indulging in eating and drinking.
