According to monitoring data from the National Climate Center, the start of the rainy season in the southern part of the Yangtze River and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in 2025 began on June 7, which is 2 days earlier than usual in the former area and 7 days earlier than usual in the latter area. In the Jianghuai region, the rainy season started on June 19, which is 4 days earlier than usual.
