The Datongxia Water Conservancy Hub opened the floodgates in advance to discharge floodwaters in response to the "Number 1 Flood of Liujiang in 2025" passing through.

Due to the recent heavy rainfall in the upstream area, the continuous influx of water has affected the Datengxia Water Conservancy Hub. Starting from June 20th, the reservoir capacity at Datengxia will be pre-released in advance, and the water level of the reservoir will gradually decrease from 47.6 meters to 44 meters. According to the hydrological department's forecast, the "Liujiang 2025 No. 1 flood" is expected to arrive at Datengxia on the morning of June 23rd. The water flow in the navigation channel below the Datengxia ship lock to the Sanjiangkou area in Guiping is rapid, which will significantly impact ship navigation. In order to ensure navigational safety and prevent ships from colliding with bridges, the Guigang Maritime Safety Administration has decided to implement water traffic control in the navigation channel below the Datengxia ship lock to the Sanjiangkou area in Guiping starting from 7:00 pm on June 22nd. During the control period, apart from emergency rescue ships and government task ships, other ships are prohibited from navigating downstream.
