Sichuan: Forward-looking layout of photovoltaic hydrogen production, nuclear high-temperature hydrogen production technology.
The Economic and Information Technology Department of Sichuan Province issued the "Sichuan Province Medium and Long-Term Development Plan for the Hydrogen Energy Industry," proposing to accelerate key technological innovation breakthroughs. Focusing on the shortcomings of basic materials such as carbon paper, catalysts, proton exchange membranes, and titanium bipolar plates, a number of major scientific and technological projects will be organized and implemented to break through the "bottleneck" technologies of the hydrogen energy industry and comprehensively improve the level of core technology independence. Develop green, large-scale hydrogen production technology, accelerate breakthroughs in megawatt-level proton exchange membrane electrolysis hydrogen production technology, hydrogen purification and quality detection technology, research and develop solid oxide electrolysis hydrogen production technology, anion exchange membrane electrolysis hydrogen production technology, and lay out the forward-looking technology for photocatalytic water hydrogen production and nuclear high-temperature hydrogen production. Key breakthroughs will be made in the manufacturing technology and industrial application of high-pressure gaseous hydrogen tanks of 70 megapascals and above, as well as low-temperature liquid hydrogen tanks, with increased research and development in salt cavern hydrogen storage, solid hydrogen storage, organic liquid hydrogen storage, and deep cryogenic liquid hydrogen-related technologies, and the exploration of natural gas blending with hydrogen and pure hydrogen pipeline transportation technologies. Combining the trend of comprehensive hydrogen energy application, major breakthroughs will be achieved in the development and application of large-scale renewable energy hydrogen production interacting with the power grid, intelligent safety control technology, comprehensive application of green hydrogen multi-energy supply, and the application of green hydrogen synthesis ammonia and alcohols.
