The long-term Treasury bond yields in the United States have risen because of weak demand in the auction of Japan's 40-year government bonds, causing the yields of ultra-long-term Japanese government bonds to jump again and affecting other markets. Market strategy analysts at Deutsche Bank's research department said, "Global yields retraced some of the gains in early trading today." Data from the London Stock Exchange Group shows that the yields of 10-year and 30-year US Treasury bonds have both increased by 4 basis points to 4.474% and 4.981% respectively.
