China and Central Asian foreign ministers hold their sixth meeting.

On April 26, 2025, local time, the sixth meeting of the foreign ministers of China and Central Asia was held in Almaty. Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbayev, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirodjidin Muhriddin, Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov, and Turkmenistan representatives, as well as the Secretary-General of the China-Central Asia mechanism. The foreign ministers' meeting made comprehensive political preparations for the second China-Central Asia Summit scheduled to be held later in the year, and deep discussions on promoting China-Central Asia cooperation in all aspects.
