In the first quarter, Hainan enterprises' imports and exports to Arab League countries increased by 23.5%.

According to the Haikou Customs, with the continuous release of the policy dividends of the Hainan Free Trade Port, the economic and trade cooperation between Hainan and Arab League countries continues to deepen, and the scale of commodity trade is steadily increasing. In the first quarter of this year, Hainan enterprises' imports and exports to Arab League countries reached 6.2 billion yuan, an increase of 23.5% compared to the same period last year, accounting for 10.2% of the total value of Hainan's imports and exports during the same period. According to statistics, Hainan imported liquefied propane, ethylene glycol, and metal ore as production materials from Arab League countries for 1.17 billion yuan, 670 million yuan, and 48.286 million yuan, respectively, increasing by 190%, 35%, and 13.9 times; and exported polyester chips, electromechanical products, and paper products to Arab League countries for 490 million yuan, 380 million yuan, and 120 million yuan, respectively, increasing by 161.4%, 55%, and 18.7%. Exports of photovoltaic products, electric vehicles, and other goods also increased significantly.
