Open Source HarmonyOS 6.0 Release is launched, with the number of HarmonyOS 5 operating system terminals exceeding 17 million.

On September 27, at the Open Source Hongmeng Technology Conference 2025, the Open Source Hongmeng 6.0 Release version was officially released, which can support terminal devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers. As of September 20 this year, the number of terminals running on the Hongmeng 5 operating system based on Open Source Hongmeng has exceeded 17 million, with over 30,000 Hongmeng applications and modular services on the shelves.
