According to the statistics from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, in August 2025, the total trading volume in China's foreign exchange market reached 24.08 trillion RMB. Among them, the interbank market had a trading volume of 3.71 trillion RMB, while the interbank market had a trading volume of 20.37 trillion RMB. The spot market had a cumulative trading volume of 9.16 trillion RMB, and the derivatives market had a cumulative trading volume of 14.93 trillion RMB. From January to August 2025, the total trading volume in China's foreign exchange market reached 203.23 trillion RMB.
