Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, said in an interview with the Times of India that he hopes US President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi can reach an agreement. When asked about the recent announcements made by the Trump administration, Dimon said he will communicate with stakeholders and policymakers about the H-1B visa issue. He described the announcement as "unexpected". Dimon believes that tariffs have a moderate inflation effect. He added that tariffs would cause some level of economic downturn under certain conditions. He considers himself a supporter of free trade, but when it comes to national security issues, it is a different matter. He is optimistic about the Indian economy and believes that the country's reforms are "very impressive".

6 m ago
Citic Securities research report stated that on September 17, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan signed a defense agreement which stipulates that any attack on one country will be considered an attack on both parties. The excellent performance of a variety of exported equipment from China in the India-Pakistan conflict has helped Chinese products gain recognition from foreign militaries. China's arms trade is gradually transitioning from low-end and cheap exports in the past to high-end weapon exports, especially with the background of large-scale updates and replacements of domestically produced equipment in recent years, some military technologies have gained strong competitiveness internationally. In the future, as China's international political status continues to rise, domestically produced military products are expected to further increase their global market share.
