The US stocks of gold mining companies collectively rose before the market opening.

After the price of gold hit a new high, the stock prices of gold mining companies listed in the US rose in pre-market trading. Westbani Stillwater Company's stock price rose by 2.3%, Harmony Gold Company's stock price rose by 3.4%, and Barrick Mining Company's stock price rose by 2.2%.
