Since the "14th Five-Year Plan", China has built more than 7,000 advanced smart factories.

Recently, it was learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that since the beginning of the 14th Five-Year Plan, China's smart manufacturing engineering has been solidly promoted. Over 35,000 basic-level factories, over 7,000 advanced-level factories, and over 230 outstanding-level smart factories have been established, promoting innovation in process, equipment, and software integration. Data shows that China's manufacturing industry robot density reaches 470 units per 10,000 workers, far exceeding the global average level. Breakthroughs in smart manufacturing equipment and system solutions have been achieved in fields such as photovoltaics, power batteries, and new energy vehicles. The comprehensive innovation and upgrade of the manufacturing industry, flexible adjustment of production lines, autonomous optimization, precise prediction of equipment failures, remote intervention, on-demand generation of product functions, and personalized definition mark a new stage of intelligent manufacturing in China with all elements working in synergy.
