Wang Huiyang, former deputy general manager of Hunan Province Highway Group, has been expelled from the party.

The website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and National Supervision Commission reported on September 19th that, according to the Discipline Inspection Commission and Supervisory Commission of Hunan Province, recently, with the approval of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, the Discipline Inspection Commission and Supervisory Commission of Hunan Province has launched an investigation into the serious disciplinary and legal violations of Wang Huiyang, former member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of Hunan Provincial Expressway Group Co., Ltd. After investigation, it was found that Wang Huiyang had lost his ideal and belief, betrayed his original mission, was disloyal and dishonest to the organization, colluded with others, obstructed the organization's investigation; ignored the spirit of the eight-point code of conduct, accepted gifts in violation of rules; failed to maintain a clean moral standard; used his position for personal gain, illegally accepting a large amount of money alone or in collusion with others. Wang Huiyang seriously violated the Party's political discipline, integrity discipline, and lifestyle discipline, and his actions constituted serious violations of law and were suspected of bribery crimes. He did not restrain himself after the 18th National Congress of the Party, and his actions were serious and had a negative impact, requiring strict punishment. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Disciplinary Measures of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Administrative Sanctions Law for Public Officials of the People's Republic of China," the Standing Committee of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Hunan Province conducted a meeting and reported to the Hunan Provincial Party Committee for approval. It was decided to expel Wang Huiyang from the Party, cancel his retirement benefits in accordance with regulations, confiscate his ill-gotten gains from violations, and transfer his suspected bribery crimes to the procuratorial organ for review and prosecution, along with all relevant assets.
