Ministry of Ecology and Environment: Utilizing big data and other means of penetrating enforcement, to drive the national motor vehicle inspection and testing institutions' non-compliance rate down to 6.9%.
On September 19th, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Yu Huiwen, stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office that the Ministry of Ecology and Environment has carried out penetrative law enforcement through big data and models, cracking down severely on falsification by third-party environmental protection agencies. Taking the field of motor vehicle emission inspection as an example, by accessing real-time data of the inspection process and using big models for intelligent analysis, they have effectively discovered falsification issues such as illogical data logic, leading to a decrease in the nationwide problem rate of motor vehicle inspection agencies from 53% in 2024 to the current 6.9%.
