Liao Min and Brazilian Deputy Minister of Finance Lu Xi Dan co-chaired the 11th meeting of the China-Brazil Financial Cooperation and Development Committee.
According to the official website of the Ministry of Finance, on September 17, 2025, Vice Minister of Finance Liao Min and Vice Minister of Finance of Brazil Lu Xidan jointly presided over the Eleventh Meeting of the Financial Committee of the China-Brazil High-Level Coordination and Cooperation Committee in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The purpose of this meeting is to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, expand the depth and breadth of financial cooperation between China and Brazil, and solidify the foundation of the China-Brazil community of shared destiny. The meeting focused on topics such as the macroeconomic situation, bilateral financial cooperation, sustainable development and climate financing, and cooperation in multilateral economic affairs. Officials from the financial departments of both countries attended. Both sides agreed to formulate a work plan and roadmap for the China-Brazil Financial Committee based on the consensus reached at the meeting, regularly review the progress, promote the implementation of relevant matters, and prepare policies and outcomes for the Eighth Meeting of the China-Brazil High-Level Coordination and Cooperation Committee scheduled to be held next year.
