OpenAI has hired former xAI Chief Financial Officer

According to the U.S. Consumer News and Business Channel, OpenAI has hired Mike Liberatore, former Chief Financial Officer of xAI, a company under Elon Musk's umbrella, as the Chief Financial Officer of the artificial intelligence startup, responsible for overseeing its massive infrastructure expenditures. He will start working on Tuesday. At Elon Musk's xAI company, Liberatore helped raise $10 billion in funding and approved a large-scale data center expansion plan before resigning at the end of July. Musk and OpenAI's CEO Sam Altman were once friends, but now they have become fierce competitors, leading to intense legal disputes.
