The EU launches anti-dumping investigation against China's PET spunbond non-woven fabric.

On September 15th, the European Commission announced that it would initiate an anti-dumping investigation on PET spunbond non-woven fabrics originating from China, following applications by EU companies Freudenberg Performance Materials and Johns Manville on August 8, 2025. The products in question have EU CN codes 5603 13 90, 5603 14 20, and 5603 14 80. The dumping investigation period is from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2022 to the end of the dumping investigation period. A preliminary ruling in this case is expected to be made within 7 months, and no longer than 8 months.
