On September 4th, the second China-Pakistan B2B Investment Summit was held in Beijing. Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Chairman Zhang Hongbin also attended the opening ceremony and gave a speech. Zhang Hongbin stated that China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic partners, and over the years, the two countries have upheld the principles of consultation, construction, and sharing, pushing the economic and trade cooperation to fruitful results and promoting the integration development of the two countries. CCPIT will work with Pakistani partners to implement the important consensus of the leaders of the two countries, further solidify the mechanism of bilateral industrial and commercial cooperation, deepen cooperation in the industrial chain and supply chain, promote the quality upgrading of trade and investment cooperation between the two countries, and make greater contributions to accelerate the building of a closer China-Pakistan community of shared destiny in the new era. Prior to the meeting, Zhang Hongbin met with Pakistan's Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan and Secretary of Commerce Javed Paul.
