Hong Kong Trade Development Council has raised its forecast for Hong Kong's export growth this year.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council announced on the 4th that in the first 7 months of this year, Hong Kong's exports grew by 12.7% compared to the same period last year. Therefore, the Council has raised its forecast for Hong Kong's overall export growth for 2025 from 3% to 7-9%. The HKTDC also released the Export Confidence Index for the third quarter of 2025. The current index rose from 49.6 in the previous quarter to 53.3, while the expected index increased from 49 to 54.3 in the same period.
