In the European market at the end of Tuesday, the yield on UK 10-year government bonds rose by 5.1 basis points to 4.801%, continuing to fluctuate upwards throughout the day. The yield on 2-year UK bonds rose by 1.8 basis points to 3.983%, with most of the day characterized by "low-level fluctuations" after a "gap-high opening." The yield on 30-year UK bonds rose by 5.3 basis points to 5.693%, reaching 5.718% at 20:13 Beijing time, approaching the peak of 5.927% on May 18, 1998, and the peak of 6.258% on January 2 of the same year. The yield on 50-year UK bonds rose by 3.4 basis points to 5.004%, reaching 5.033% at 20:13, setting a new historical high after several days. The yield spread between 2-year and 10-year UK bonds rose by 3.148 basis points to +81.626 basis points.
