Economic growth prospects improve to provide support; Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are bullish on European stocks.
Zhijie Finance APP learned that some top Wall Street strategists believe that with the strong economic outlook driving the stock market to break out of a narrow trading range, European stock markets may rise in the coming months. Led by Sharon Bell, Goldman Sachs strategists predict that the pan-European Stoxx 600 index will rise by 2% to around 560 points by the end of 2025, benefiting from improved economic growth prospects, lower positions, and relatively cheaper valuations. The strategists also pointed out that investors "increasingly want to diversify their exposure to the US market, both due to the weak US dollar and because of overconcentration in the technology sector." These strategists also predict that the pan-European Stoxx 600 index will rise by 5% in the next year.
