Tajikistan President Rahmon arrives in Beijing to attend the 80th anniversary commemoration of the victory in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.

On the evening of September 1st, Tajikistan President Rahmon arrived in Beijing by high-speed rail and will attend the 80th anniversary commemorative activities of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Prior to this, President Rahmon of Tajikistan was invited to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit held in Tianjin. Currently, the relationship between China and Tajikistan is at its best in history. In July 2024, the China-Tajikistan relationship was upgraded to a new era comprehensive strategic partnership. China and Tajikistan have taken the lead in building a security community, a development community, and announced the construction of a China-Tajikistan community of shared destiny.
