On the evening of September 1st, Tajikistan President Rahmon arrived in Beijing by high-speed rail to attend the 80th anniversary commemoration of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Prior to this, Tajikistan President Rahmon was invited to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit held in Tianjin. Currently, the China-Tajikistan relationship is at its best historical period. In July 2024, the China-Tajikistan relationship was upgraded to a new era of comprehensive strategic partnership.
