The latest information disclosed by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange shows that Ping An Life Insurance increased its holdings of 26.515 million shares of Agricultural Bank of China H shares on August 12. After the completion of the increase, Ping An Life Insurance held a total of 4.329 billion shares of Agricultural Bank of China H shares, accounting for over 14% of the total H shares of the bank. Prior to this, on February 17, Ping An Life Insurance held over 5% of the total H shares of Agricultural Bank of China after acquiring a certain number of H shares. This means that from February 17 to August 12, Ping An Life Insurance collectively increased its holdings of approximately 2.84 billion shares of Agricultural Bank of China H shares, totaling approximately HK$14 billion based on the average price of transactions within the period.
