Ping An Life Insurance continues to increase its holdings of Agricultural Bank of China H shares. Its shareholding has exceeded 14% of the total H shares of the bank.

The latest information disclosed by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange shows that Ping An Life Insurance increased its holdings of 26.515 million shares of Agricultural Bank of China H shares on August 12, bringing its total holdings to 4.329 billion shares, accounting for over 14% of the total number of H shares of the bank. Prior to this, Ping An Life Insurance acquired a stake in Agricultural Bank of China H shares on February 17, with the holdings accounting for over 5% of the total number of H shares. This means that from February 17 to August 12, Ping An Life Insurance increased its holdings by approximately 2.84 billion shares of Agricultural Bank of China H shares, with a total investment of approximately HK$14 billion based on the average trading price.
