CITIC Securities: Zhiyuan announces new patent for nimble hands, focusing on the tendon sheath segment.

According to a research report from CITIC Securities, based on the patent search system of the National Intellectual Property Administration, the invention patent "Agile Hand Fingers, Agile Hand, and Robot" of Shanghai Zhiyuan New Technology Co., Ltd. was publicly disclosed on August 1, 2025. The three degrees of freedom of the agile hand fingers are all driven by tendons, with the tendons passing through the sheath, which is divided into inner sheath and outer sheath. Combined with the analysis of public information, the report predicts that mainstream humanoid robot manufacturers both domestically and internationally, including Tesla, will adopt tendon sheath design, and it is expected that the global tendon sheath market for humanoid robots will reach 1.02 billion yuan by 2030. The report believes that the current market has not yet emphasized the importance of tendon sheaths, and is optimistic about manufacturers currently deploying sheaths or tendon manufacturers that may deploy sheaths in the future.
