The Alliance for Open Life Sciences was established jointly by 15 mainland Chinese and Hong Kong/Macau universities and research institutions.
On August 12, the Life Science Open Alliance, jointly initiated by 15 mainland Chinese and Hong Kong and Macau universities and research institutions, was officially established in Hong Kong. The leaders from 9 top universities and new research institutions in mainland China, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, Xiamen University, Sun Yat-sen University, Westlake University, and Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, as well as the presidents of 6 universities in Hong Kong and Macau, including the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the City University of Hong Kong, and the University of Macau, jointly launched the alliance construction.
