British media reported on the 9th that the Scottish Environment Protection Agency mentioned in a document that the British Ministry of Defence has been concealing the leakage of radioactive waste into the sea in the west of Scotland for many years. The report stated that the leakage of tritium-contaminated waste water was caused by old pipelines repeatedly breaking at the nuclear warhead storage facility of the British Navy located in that area. Tritium is a radioactive harmful substance. The documents show that the pipelines in that area have broken multiple times in 2010, 2019, and 2021. The report stated that the British Ministry of Defence has been trying to conceal this information for many years under the pretext of national security.
