The Central Meteorological Observatory continues to issue a blue warning for severe convection weather at 10:00 on August 9th.

It is expected that from 14:00 on August 9th to 14:00 on August 10th, some areas in the central and eastern parts of the northeast region, the southern part of the Huang-Huai region, the northern part of the Jiang-Huai region, the central and western parts of Jiang-Han region, and the eastern part of the southwest region will experience thunderstorms with wind gusts of more than level 8, or hail. Among them, some areas in the southern part of Henan, the northeastern part of Anhui, the northwestern part of Jiangsu, the central part of Hubei, and the central and western parts of the Sichuan Basin will experience thunderstorms with wind gusts exceeding level 10, with maximum wind speeds reaching level 11 or more. Additionally, some areas in the central and eastern parts of the northeast region, the southern part of the Huang-Huai region, most of the Jiang-Huai region, most of the Jiang-Han region, the eastern part of the southwest region, and the southeastern part of the northwest region will experience short-term heavy precipitation with hourly rainfall exceeding 20 millimeters. Among them, some areas in the southern part of Shaanxi, the southern part of Henan, the central part of Anhui, the central part of Jiangsu, the central and western parts of Hubei, the western and southeastern parts of the Sichuan Basin will experience hourly rainfall exceeding 50 millimeters, with maximum rainfall exceeding 80 millimeters. It is expected that the main impact period of severe convective weather will be from this afternoon to night.
