On the morning of August 8th, the Information Office of the People's Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region held the sixth in a series of themed press conferences in Nanning, introducing the implementation of the negative list for outbound data of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone. It was announced that this list is the first in the country to manage outbound data in the fields of geographic information and meteorological data services, enterprise credit information services, cross-border e-commerce live broadcasting, and overseas audio and video production and dissemination. Data within the list need to undergo data outbound security assessment, establish personal information outbound standard contracts, or pass personal information protection certification. Data outside the list can flow across borders more freely. The outbound data negative list in these four fields has been officially issued and implemented after being recorded by the National Cyberspace Administration and the National Bureau of Statistics on August 4th.
