It was reported that insiders revealed that Tesla will disband its Dojo supercomputer team, and the team leader will leave the company. This move may disrupt Tesla's plan to develop its own chips for autonomous driving technology. Musk stated on social media that Tesla disbanded the Dojo team because it was spreading resources, and developing two completely different AI chip designs made no sense. Tesla will focus on developing AI5, AI6, and subsequent chips, which will perform well in inference, at least decently in training.
