Gansu Yuzhong suffered from mountain torrents, with over 1500 people evacuated in 4 towns and communication and electricity restoration efforts are being stepped up.

In the evening of August 7th, central Gansu encountered moderate to heavy rain, triggering mountain flood disasters in Yuzhong County and other areas of Lanzhou City. After nearly 20 hours of rescue efforts, as of now, a total of 494 households with 1569 people have been evacuated to safety in four townships. Currently, local departments such as electricity, communication, transportation, etc. are still intensively repairing the scene.
