In response to the US Department of Justice's statement accusing two Chinese citizens of violating US export restrictions by exporting advanced artificial intelligence chips manufactured by NVIDIA to China, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiajun stated that China has always opposed the politicization, instrumentalization, and weaponization of technology and economic and trade issues by the US, and maliciously blockading and suppressing China. The US should effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese citizens.
