The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Emergency Management urgently allocated a total of 430 million yuan in central natural disaster relief funds to support relevant provinces in carrying out emergency rescue and disaster relief work, effectively ensuring the safety of people's lives and property. Firstly, based on the previous allocation of disaster relief funds, further support will be provided to Beijing and Hebei to help relocate and resettle affected populations, provide assistance for their transitional living, and restore and rebuild damaged houses, in order to quickly restore normal production and living order in disaster areas. Secondly, support will be provided to Inner Mongolia, Guangdong, Guangxi and other provinces affected by heavy rain, floods, geological disasters to carry out emergency measures such as removing dangers and risks, conducting secondary disaster hidden danger investigation and emergency remediation, in order to minimize disaster losses and casualties. Currently, China is in the critical period of flood prevention with complex and severe flood control and disaster relief situation. The Ministry of Finance will tighten the string of flood control and disaster relief, always prioritize the safety of people's lives and property, closely monitor the development and changes of disasters, strengthen fund guarantees, and support local authorities in carrying out flood control and disaster relief work.
