Private kindergartens shall exempt the fees for education and teaching in accordance with the practices of public kindergartens.

The State Council Information Office introduced the gradual implementation of free preschool education: the fee standards for public nurseries set by local relevant departments shall be followed. For children in public nurseries who previously paid a certain amount, now they will be exempt from paying that amount; for eligible children attending private nurseries approved by the education department, they will be granted the same level of exemption as the corresponding public nurseries in the same area, thus reducing the cost of nursery education. For example, if the approved nursery fee for a private nursery is 800 yuan per person per month, while the same type of public nursery in the area charges 500 yuan; after the policy is implemented, children in the public nursery will no longer need to pay nursery education fees, while children in the private nursery will only need to pay the remaining amount, which is 300 yuan.
