On August 7th, Ali's Qwen released two new smaller models - Qwen3-4B-Instruct-2507 and Qwen3-4B-Thinking-2507. According to Qwen's introduction, in the non-reasoning field, Qwen3-4B-Instruct-2507 surpasses the closed-source GPT4.1-Nano comprehensively; in the reasoning field, Qwen3-4B-Thinking-2507 can even rival the medium-sized Qwen3-30B-A3B. The new models are now officially open-sourced on the MoDApps community and HuggingFace.
