The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States dismantled the committee responsible for developing vaccine policies.
The media reported citing an email that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States has informed medical groups, public health professionals, and infectious disease experts that they will no longer be invited to help review vaccine data and provide recommendations. "It is important that the activities of the ACIP working group are not influenced by any special interest groups, so the ACIP working group will no longer include advocacy organizations," the email said. It also described these groups as being biased based on the districts and/or populations they represent.
