The State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters has initiated the flood control emergency response for Guangdong, Gansu, and Ningxia.

According to the meteorological department's forecast, from August 3rd to 5th, there will be heavy rainfall in regions such as South China and Northwest China, with Guangdong, Gansu, and Ningxia experiencing torrential or heavy rain, and isolated areas experiencing severe rainstorms. In accordance with the "National Flood Control and Drought Relief Emergency Plan" and relevant regulations, the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters has decided to initiate a Level IV emergency response for flood control in Guangdong, Gansu, and Ningxia on August 3rd, and has dispatched working groups to Guangdong to assist and guide flood control efforts.
